Description:For sale here is my Zeiss Ikon Super Nettel II with 50mm f2.8 Tessar. This is a camera I really hate selling as it probably one of the last few working Super Nettel II’s left. When you’re out shooting with it it’s almost guaranteed that you’re the only person on earth shooting with one at that moment. That’s one of the things I enjoyed when using it. The camera is in used condition as you can see, with an name inscribed on the lens door (I couldn’t find any information on that person). The lens is in good condition, free of scratches or any major defects. There are some specks of dust inside, and there is a thin haze if you were to hold it up to a bright light. Nothing that impacted my photos. The aperture blades have some oil on them, however they are smooth and as if focus too. The shutter speeds seem accurate, the ones 1/25th and below may be a tad slow, however I didn’t use them when shooting. When winding the film and cocking the shutter you turn the winding knob until it stops, and then you wind it another 1/4 turn or so to set the shutter speed. I believe the first 3/4 of the turn sets the shutter, and the last 1/4 sets the shutter speed (as evident by the shutter speed ‘dot’ on the knob lining up with the selected shutter speed). I believe this is normal as the camera works fine this way. Included is the camera as pictured with take-up spool. If you have any questions then please let me know and I’ll get back to you ASAP.
