Vintage Porsche (+Audi) 928S 2 Page Print Ad Original 1982 Framed Since my last few Porsche-oriented framed ads have sold, figured I would do another but go for a 928S ad, #20 in the Series of Technical Papers in the Consumer orientation series. This is with a double mat and black moulding with inside notch/step. These just look so cool and the ultimate Mancave or Car Guy Garage pic. This was framed in November 2023 by myself (professional framer). It has a double mat, light gray (concrete) outer mat and brownish/charcoal inner mat with 2 openings for each page and a thin gutter between the pages. Black wooden classic frame which is 1 5/16” wide with an inside step and covered on back. This has recovered UV glass protecting this vintage piece. All matting (Crescent Select) and black foam core backing are acid-free, the black backing keeps any print from back of the print from showing. I did a hinge mount on this with only small amount attached on the print. The overall picture is 22 1/4” x 17 3/4” and the moulding is 7/8” deep. Note that the reverse of this print ad contains potentially offensive material and came from a leading Hefner men’s magazine of the time. Only the one picture is for sale on this listing, the last picture just shows with the original Maxell poster which is available on a separate listing and the picture on right is the previous similar one sold obviously. You can’t get it framed like this for less than this price (including shipping). Note: In some cases I need to apply a thin 1/8” to 1/4” strip of ATG acid-free tape under the center strip and the center joined pages to prevent the mat from lifting. This is not visible. The fact is, your not buying the picture (actual value between $10 and $15 with shipping), you are buying the custom framing. Please share any findings and I will update listing (and possibly price). SIGNED ITEMS: I guarantee the authenticity of the signature in perpetuity. If it is ever determined by an autograph authentication company such as PSA/DNA to be fake, you may return the item at that time for a full refund of the purchase price including shipping (the authentication service costs will not be refunded); a refund will not be made after 30 days if a final determination could not be made. Comics (and Playbills) always bagged and boarded and are shipped in Gemini mailers (approximately 9 or less) and Books will be wrapped and shipped in a book mailer -or- taped to backing boards and placed in bubble mailer. Special requests accepted within reason. I do not intentionally overstate shipping weight or ship a lower level without contacting buyer. I have a major tendency to be over-protective for items regardless of value, I will always pack properly first and weigh last. Unfortunately I can’t control all aspects of the delivery services but do my best to anticipate and follow-up. Items shipped via USPS Media Mail (books, laser discs, albums, sheet music) can take up to 2 weeks for delivery, so be patient. If you feel shipping is high, check first and will see if an error or if maybe there are other shipping options such as USPS Priority Flat Rate for small heavy items or UPS Ground for larger items. Local pickup available on request. Insurance is at my sole discretion since I maintain all the risk (you get refunded regardless if an item is damaged). Shipping is actual cost based on my weight and size estimate and there is no surcharge or handling fee. Once an item has been paid for, I MUST ship it the next business day (unless otherwise stated in the eBay Shipping Policy). I will NOT ship to any address other than that which was specified in the order and stated on eBay as the Ship-To address. RETURNS: 30 day no-risk returns and seller (i.e. ME) pays return shipping unless otherwise stated in the listing.
