eBay Vintage 1977 MXR 6 band graphic eq pedal. This 1977 MXR 6 band Eq is the same Eq Dimebag Darrell used in his setup. Shape Your Tone with Precision and dial in the Dimebag tone. This listing is for this Very rare 1977 MXR 6 band Eq serial # 1-77606. This pedal is in great shape for being over 40 yrs old. Back in the late 70’s & 80’s pedals were manufactured with better materials than they use today. Today manufacturers use the cheapest crap possible. This pedal will give you the sickist tone the rest of your life. Use the MXR Six Band EQ Pedal to fine-tune your guitar or bass tone for any situation, or use it as a sculptable boost for leads and solos. However you use it, the low-noise circuitry keeps your core tone intact, while six EQ sliders allow you to add or cut up to 18dB. Create mid-scooped rhythm tones, cut unnecessary bass for a cleaner sound, or add warmth and remove quack from acoustic-electric guitars. Built with rugged aluminum and featuring true bypass switching, the MXR Six Band EQ Pedal is a fine addition to any pedalboard. Enough gain to use as a boost When you’re looking for a way to boost your tone, but want more flexibility than a traditional boost pedal allows, I recommend using a EQ pedal like the MXR Six Band EQ Pedal. With 18dB of cut/boost available on each slider, you can boost just the frequencies you want. Maybe you want a full-range tone as your base, but want to boost your mids for certain sections. With the MXR Six Band EQ Pedal, you can shape your boost to fit into any mix. MXR Six Band EQ Pedal Features: 6-band graphic EQ pedal for guitar and bass Each slider offers 18dB of cut/boost Low-noise circuitry and true bypass switching Rugged aluminum housing, with white indicators on the sliders Perfect for removing unwanted frequencies, fighting feedback, balancing your tone, and much more Power source has been professionally added so you can power pedal with a common 1/8” plug power cable without using a battery as the power source. 1/8” power supply not included. You can use any Dunlop 1/8” plug power supply. MXR 6 band Eq’s are manufactured for battery power only. This sucks! You have to rely on your battery. If battery runs out of power you have to take apart to install new battery. If your playing a gig and battery goes out your “blanked”. The added power source gives this MXR 6 band Eq power all the time when it’s plugged into power source. When you leave a battery in your unit it could corrode and ruin your pedal.
