Our antenna consistently outperforms OEM and other aftermarket mass produced portable antennas. Each of our antennas is fine-tuned by hand to deliver absolute maximum communications performance with real certified results over a specific and guaranteed frequency range. This antenna does not have GPS capability. This listing is for one antenna that was purchased new from a known-brand with recognized excellent quality and durable construction. We then disassemble and alter the antenna element with custom fine tuning using lab grade test equipment to obtain a higher performance level across a specific frequency range. Our antenna is first class “Like, Kind, Quality” (LKQ) as the original known-brand antenna with an added outstanding high performance level. Please be absolutely certain that your portable radio communications are only in the 800 MHz band since in many US states this band has become very congested and the 700 MHz Expansion Band is now being used in combination with the 800 MHz band which would then require our V07+, 95A (with GPS) or 95N antennas that cover the combined 700/800 MHz bands. The 800 MHz band has been the main frequency range used for Police, Fire, Rescue, and Public Safety Trunked/Conventional radio systems in the USA. Our antenna will cover all of the 800 MHz frequencies as published in the US Homeland Security “National Interop Field Operations Guide” (NIFOG book), US FEMA interop radio channels, and all Statewide Radio Systems that have rebanded (courtesy of Nextel) into the rebanded 800 MHz frequency ranges. All standard OEM and aftermarket antennas are mass produced with non-certified “GE” (good enough) or “So-So” performance somewhere in the 600 to 900 MHz frequency ranges. Any VSWR above 2:1 is definitely BAD for the performance and the long term health of the radio RF power output amplifier.
