*PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH ANY SPECIAL REQUESTS* Reproduction Rare malaysia singapore Banknote 1 Dollars 1940 antique UNC Asia Description of the note this reproduction replicates: Malaya Board of Commissioners of Currency 1 Dollar 1.1.1940 Pick 4b KNB3aThe ill-fated green $1 was printed by Waterlow & Sons in huge quantity, but it was simply not meant to be. Notes were shipped to Singapore and Penang in batches, and two of these merchant ships carrying the paper notes were sunk. However, the batches that did arrive safely were not issued due to the Japanese invasion of Malaya. One brick of 1,000 notes disappeared, while others were stolen by the Japanese, and still others were destroyed to protect the integrity of the Board of Commissioners of Currency. Amazingly, some notes found their way into circulation, and some were sea salvaged by fisherman. At the time of cataloging, only 33 examples have been graded by PMG. None grade higher榮獲第二高分的1940年1元1940年馬來亞貨幣發行局1元。此款翠綠色調的1元鈔票命途多舛，當時由倫敦華德路父子公司印發。最初大量印製，分批經海路運往新加坡及檳城，途中兩艘載有鈔票的商船沉沒。其餘批次亦遇上日軍侵占馬來亞，最終無緣發行。當中一曡1,000枚鈔票不知所蹤，一部分被日軍士兵偷去，餘下鈔票為保貨幣發行局名節而適數銷毀。雖然如此，仍有極少量鈔票流入市面，亦有部分被漁民撈獲, 得以存世。截至編目之時，PMG只有33張入評報告，當中只一張評分更高。此枚唯有一對釘孔鏽跡可挑剔，整體狀態新净光鮮。從未流通的稀世奇珍。*PLEASE BE AWARE THESE BANKNOTES ARE REPRODUCTIONS* Reproduction of a High value note. This note is unattainable for most but this reproduction is the next best thing available which is perfect to display in your home or add to your binder etc. All of these notes go under digital restoration of some kind. Some go under major restoration. Some notes are also built from seperate proofs, That makes these repros the only way to receive these notes on one single sheet.
