I make these to order so please allow about 10 days for shipment, once purchased. This is a simple one tube, one control 1625 cw transmitter for 160, 80 and 40 meter cw. It uses plug-in coils for band switching. This is low power QRP. You will need 12 volts dc for this transmitter. Your power supply (or battery) should be capable of about 2.5 to 3 amps current capacity, in transmit mode. The high voltage power module will produce over 300 volts dc, no load voltage, and well over 200 volts under load, key down, transmit. On request, I can build these with a 1625,12L6 or 12V6 tube, same price. Just let me know, when purchased. It goes without saying, this circuit can be lethal when power is applied, if you do not treat it with the same respect you’d use with any ham radio transmitter! I used the old traditional slatboard style for this transmitter, so as to keep the 1940’s nostalgic appearance. The paint is hammered gray, but you may have the natural pine wood appearance with clear urethane, on request. For that matter I can paint the slatboard chassis most any color that can be had at the paint store, so please inquire if you have a specific color request. Coils and QRP crystals for the bands mentioned are included with this listing. This item will be freshly constructed when ordered. Most all parts are new or nos, with the exception of the vacuum tube and crystal holders, which may be used items. I guarantee this transmitter will work if properly connected to a power sources and your ham radio antenna. A good earth ground is always essential for best performance. A hand sketched schematic diagram of the circuit will be provided with your purchase. No power supplies of an kind are included with this item. Shipping to the United States only.
