Welcome to Ashantee Music!Matching Exceptional Students With Quality Instruments One of several intermediate and professional oboes we are offering for sale. This is a Fox Model 400 all-wood, full conservatory oboe. It is in very good condition: wood has a crack in the upper joint which was professionally pinned and sealed years ago and should never be a problem. No other chips, cracks, repairs or bore damage. Silver plate about 99.9% with little if any wear at all. Includes a bunch of keys not found on lesser or earlier oboes, including the F-resonance key, left F key, split D/D#, banana key, extra trills, articulated C, and low Bb. Pads are in excellent condition with little wear at all, and seal exceptionally well with no leaks. Just through our shop wear it needed very little other than bore oiling and very minor regulation. Comes in a slim pochette case with normal exterior wear. Cork grease and key oil are for local pickup only, but it does include a new Jewel silk swab, a new ProTec microfiber cloth, and reed. All in brand-new, $79 Kaces LUXE Series padded case cover giving you weather resistance, lots of external zippered storage, a strap, and a ton of swag!
