With full metal toe and heel piece housings, these Race Service bindings provide both the weight and retention qualities that top-level racers need when competing on the world’s toughest courses. FreeFlex Pro technology, meanwhile, ensures the advanced ski-to-binding compliance needed for a smooth and even flex pattern throughout the entire turn, effectively minimizing the feeling of a dead spot underfoot. And when it comes to racer safety, the RC4 Z 16 combines a Race AFD and FRP system in the toe piece with PB² Race Pro brakes. With a slightly smaller spring and DIN-range of 8 – 16, the Z 16 FF X Race Service binding is ideal for adult slalom racers or junior speed disciplines. Freeflex – The binding for the highest demands! Aero Toe: Full Diagonal Toes feature 180 release action giving the skier maximum safety in backward twisting-fall situations. Race Diagonal Toes are tuned for racing purposes. Due to higher release force vertically than horizontally, it holds up to the high backward lean forces that occur in racing. TRP Toe: A 4 roller system in the toe piece which allows perfect 180 degree release and 30% higher retention ability without compromising safety. It also helps absorb little shocks so they are not all transferred to you. Race AFD: An intelligent Race AFD gliding element which moves together with the ski flex enabling constant contact between boot and binding in all flex situations.Improved ski control and direct power transmission without wobbling between boot and binding guarantee precise turns, powerful energy transfer and minimal response time resulting in even faster runs.
