Dr. Martens 9772 High Top Shoes (Black Leather) – Size: UK-8 converts to: 9-U.S. Men / 10-U.S. Women / 42-EUGreat condition made in England (pre- Y2K).Whether your nth or 50th pair of Dr. Martens, choose Made in England… Premium full grain leather and generation handed-down cobbler craftsmanship. Quality and rare, step into individual inspired vintage shoes for this Fall & Winter. DETAILS:-Color: Black (see pictures taken in outside natural lighting and inside lighting) -Upper Material: Constructed of full grain leather and durable nylon mesh subsections. Leather is soft and supple with minor to be expected creases, light blemishes and scrapes. Both leather and mesh are completely free of tears, loose stitching, dryness and flaking of any type – as expected from authentic, made in England Dr. Martens and very light use (see pictures) -Bottom Soles: Very Clean with light abrasion and no obvious unevenness in heel strike zone or forefoot area. Difficult to tell what the original lug depth since these are not Dr. Marten’s more common “Chunky” Bex sole type (with deep lugs), so please look at the pictures to make your own assessment. Mine is these had tread depth more common to court or urban casual walking shoes and not much has worn-off since these left the factory. Bottom sole (exterior) measures approx. 12.0″ (heel-to-toe), and sole rise/thickness including bouncy sole section measures approx. 1-1/4″ (at rear heel) -Interior: Clean with light signs of use, no odors and no structural tears. Interior walls still have nice padding. The thin microfiber top layer cloth on foam pancake insoles have rolled back some, however this top layer is extremely thin (lk a microfiber film) and it creates no bunching-up sensation when heel rests on this area. No action required of buyer unless they choose to replace with better non-pancake insoles/orthotics. For sizing comparison to your favorite shoes, the insoles of this shoe measure approx. 11″ from heel cup to toe edge (see pictures) -Laces: Original and in great condition. This emphasizes the light use of these shoes (see pictures) -Eyelets: Comprised of a variety of 3 “Speed Hooks” at the upper lace section and 4 “D”-Rings at the lower section (14 total on both sides of 1 shoe). All 28 are flawless without any unusual wear, aesthetic or functional issues. Each is attached securely to the shoe with “Dr. Marten” embossed rivets (see pictures) -Shoe Weight: Each shoe approx. 1 lbs 10 oz. (total pair: 3 lbs 4 oz.)
