Like the original, the combination of three playback heads and reverb can be easily selected with the MODE knob, and the REPEAT RATE can be extended to twice the length of the original, making it a great choice for modern music. The WOW & FLUTTER knobs control the natural modulation effect caused by the unstable rotation of the magnetic tape. These knobs even reproduce the behavior of the originals, so that even when using extreme settings to obtain oscillation sounds, you can control them in real time while feeling the movement of the mechanism as if you were touching the originals. In addition, you can choose whether to pass the direct sound through the preamp or not. The RE-2 is a compact pedal with all the charm of the Space Echo. It is an easy addition to your pedal board.Convenient FeaturesThe RE-2 has many convenient functions in a compact package. By pressing and holding the pedal, you can control the tap tempo function and TWIST on/off, which makes the echo sound radically undulate. The input is stereo compatible, so you can take full advantage of the expansive reverb effect.
