This Vintage Authentic Official Press Kit from the 1975 F1 US Grand Prix at Watkins Glen presented by First National City Travelers Checks (along with related information) has been in storage in a smoke and pet free home for more than 45 years, and all the materials are in excellent condition for their age. (Please see photos.) The Official Press Kit from the 1975 F1 US Grand Prix at Watkins Glen presented by First National City Travelers Checks is a stapled packet of materials almost ½ inch thick containing a wealth of information, including the Official Entry List, Pit Assignments, the daily schedules; a Fact Sheet; Lap Records at the circuit for multiple classes of racecars; maps of the course with safety stations and emergency district communication info; a time/speed Conversion Chart; the Point System for the World Championship of Drivers; Rules and Regulations governing the Grand Prix; US Grand Prix results dating to 1959; highlights of various races throughout the years; profiles of the Formula One participants; and various background articles. It also has a modest amount of information on the supporting events–the Robert Bosch Gold Cup Super Vee race, the Scirocco “Sidewinder Challenge”, VW Rabbit Economy Run, and the H. H. Vintage Grand Prix. In addition, there is a copy of the Goodyear Racing Newsletter, Formula One Facts from Ford, and a Credential Privilege List issued by the track. Niki Lauda won the 1975 US Grand Prix in a Ferrari, Emerson Fittipaldi finished 2nd in a McLaren, and Jochen Mass was 3rd, also in a McLaren. The Official Press Kit and all its contents in essentially in pristine condition and the same is true of the Genesee Beer/Genesee Brewing Company presentation measuring 14.5” x 9”.
